Questions and answers about COVID-19 and fertility treatment with donor sperm
Can you still deliver sperm straws to fertility clinics?
Yes, we can still deliver sperm straws to your fertility clinic. However, you must ensure that your clinic is open and ready to receive the delivery from Cryos.
Are there problems with deliveries at the moment?
We have not experienced problems with deliveries. Even though borders are closed in some countries, we are still able to ship sperm straws cross borders.
What happens if the delivery is delayed and the straws have thawed?
Fortunately, we have not experienced problems with deliveries. However, as mentioned, you must ensure that your clinic is ready to receive the order. We cannot guarantee your delivery, but we can help you postpone your order for shipment at a later time if you wish to.
If my fertility clinic is closed due to coronavirus, can you ship to my address?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer to ship sperm straws to your private address. Instead, we can help you reserve sperm straws from your donor for fertility treatment when your clinic opens again.
Can we keep the straws with Cryos until our clinic is ready to start fertility treatment again?
Yes. You can convert your order to a reservation. We offer free of charge reservation for up to 6 months.
This way we will save the sperm straws from your donor at Cryos premises until you can continue fertility treatment again. By using the reservation option you’re ensured that your favourite donor is available when you’re ready for fertility treatment.
